Working Mom?

Today was a very depressing day for me.  I went back to work for the first time since having Sarah Grace.  Now I shouldn't really complain considering I'm only going to be working on wednesdays from 2-6 with an occasional saturday if I want, but I just love spending time with my girl. In the 4 hours that I was at work today I managed to miss her first giggle.  Now I have heard her laughing and giggling in her sleep, but never awake. Why she decided to do it in that short period of time that I was away I will never know. I'm just sad that I missed it. On the plus side, with me working the 4 hours a week, I get to keep my discount, which very well could be worth it.  Animal care is expensive and my Scout needs a dental and vaccines shortly! Plus I get to socialize with the other women at work, a few of them also have babies at home and work just one day a week.  Most importantly, Sarah Grace gets to interact with other people(my mom,dad, & brothers).  She is already turning into a mommy's girl. Which from what I have been told is a bad thing, but secretly I love it! I did miss the giggles, but while I was there picking her up from my parents, my mom put her in a swing she used for my little brother.  Oh my, Sarah Grace loved it, when my mom tried to pull her out she started crying!  I think I might have to  talk to the Easter Bunny about getting her one.  Knowing that the Easter Bunny is now working 4 hours a week  he might be able to afford such a pricey gift. So, back to my original topic, I would rather not be considered a working mom (not that its a bad thing for those of you who do) but a mom who has a 4 hour social date with animals and other women every week!
