There aren't many new and exciting things going on our house. Except the new and wonderful things Sarah Grace is learning. She's continuing to become more talkative and more spoiled everyday. A great achievement for her! Her head control is improving by the day...(thank you, no more of the head thrust backwards that scare you to death while you are holding her)... Long sentence... Anyway, she's still giving us the cutest smiles, funny sounds, and lots of drool!
So, there are these really cute big flowered headbands that I LOVE. All of the cute online boutiques sell them, but they are usually around $10 to $11. I'm way too cheap for that. Saturday, I left the girl with her dad and my sister and I took off on a mission to find supplies. I ended up making 3 headbands and 1 flower beanie for $6. Yes, I'm very proud of my accomplishment! If you hate these giant headbands, I'm sorry, don't tell me, just compliment me on my cheapness and attempt to be crafty!
*as a side note, Sarah Grace looked absolutely beautiful at church yesterday. She wore her cute purple flower headband and an even cuter dress. 5 minutes after arriving at church the dress, blanket, & carseat were covered in spit up! I mean like projectile, how in the world did that come out of you, spit up! What a huge mess! Thank goodness for diaper bags & extra outfits.
*other side note...I'm obsessed with black & white photos! I haven't quite figured out the other fun features of my camera, so for now, thats what you get!

i like the headbands too, especially when baby doen't have much hair, it's fun, and then everyone remembers baby is a girl (i hated it when i brought afton to church dressed all in pink and in a pink blanket and everyone said "isn't he sweet" or "what a handsome boy" just cause i didn't have something in her hair!), and cheap is MUCH better!
