This past weekend was our beautiful Sarah Grace's blessing day. It was so wonderful to have some of Eric's family here. We have a small house, but its nice to be able to fill it up every once in a while. Sarah Grace had been feeling pretty ill all weekend after her immunizations and me indulging in some of my favorite foods. I love broccoli, onions, peppers, and all the other great foods that can cause gas in babies. It really is a shame. So, we were a little worried that she would fuss during the blessing. She was absolutely perfect through it. Although Eric said her bonnet slipped onto her face and she thrashed her head around trying to get it off. She wore a dress that Judy purchased several years ago and a darling bonnet that she made out of the handkerchief I carried on my wedding day. So Cute! Eric gave her a beautiful blessing and I must admit, I did get a bit teary eyed. Afterwards we headed to my parents house and had dinner. It was great and we all left very full!! The visit was cut a little short though, we forgot Eric's family is allergic to cats. So poor Laurel left a little puffy in the eyes. Overall it was a perfect day and I'm so grateful for this beautiful child and to have an amazing family.
*Just so you know, I have tons of pictures from their visit and tons more from Charleston. I will be posting nonstop the next few days!!
