Fridays are one of my favorite days of the week. I can sleep in a bit, I have yoga, and I have all day with Sarah Grace and Eric. Ok, Eric sleeps most of the day, but we still have part of the evening together. I like fridays even more when I don't have to work on Saturdays! We need new toilets in the house though so I don't suppose I'll be ditching my saturdays any time soon... too bad! Sarah Grace and I ran several errands today in preparation for our trip down to Columbia tomorrow. The game plan was for us to do what I needed to get done and then come home, pick up Eric and head over to the new Trader Joe's that opened today. Instead, we ran our errands (which involved several mishaps...super annoying, I'll go into more detail at a later date,) came home ate lunch, Eric was waiting for us but the second I sat down I realized how exhausted I was and to be honest I can't remember the last time I took a nap during the week. Eric suggested I take a power nap and then we'd go out. I slept for about 45 minutes and didn't feel like going and fighting crowds at Trader Joe's so instead we headed over to a local grocery store and loaded up. We came home, made a quick dinner, and then headed outside to use our fire pit. We had a blast throwing sticks in and making smores. My parents even stopped by for a few minutes to enjoy the fire! It was a good friday and I'm pretty excited about tomorrows events. We actually have a really busy weekend, so hopefully I can be good about getting everything posted.

Mmm trader joes. I love and hate that place. I love it cause it has awesome things. I hate it cause finding those awesome things the next time you go is impossible. Oh well. How nice to have one by you.
Nothing beats a good backyard fire. How fun, I think we'll have to do one again soon. I love your hair by the way. It looks so cute on you.
I think the trick to Trader Joes is if you find something you really love you stock up! Then when you go back for something else and it isn't there you won't feel so bad.

ooh, trader joes. that would be a fun store to have nearby! i think i should get steve one of those fire pits sometime in the next few years. they are such fun.
