My friend Natalie posted on her facebook about the Elf on the Shelf. Her family does this every year for Christmas and she posted a link to it. I read up on it the other night and thought it was a super cute idea, but then realized I would have to order it online and my lazy gene kicked in. I thought,"oh well, it will be cute to do next year." Then today I went Christmas shopping and I just happened to go to the mall (gasp, I know, I HATE the mall during the holidays and thats why I'm trying to be super shopper now. I really do not want to be out in Holiday traffic.) I was just walking around minding my own business when I saw in a window display my little elf. I couldn't help myself, I purchased it. I'm super excited to start this new tradition with Sarah Grace.

I read about that on Natalie's facebook too, and I thought of my adorable nieces! I'm so glad you got it. If you didnt, I was thinking about something like that for a Christmas gift, but its more fun that you got it now.
That's so funny that you posted about it just this week. I saw it advertised on Barnes and Noble and spent several minutes reading up on it and trying to find just the book and a cuter Elf guy. This one doesn't have any feet! Well I guess I won't be getting SG one for Christmas next year - Great fun.
