The circus

We had a slight meltdown half way through when she realized that she wouldn't be able to go down and touch the elephants. So sad!

My parents gave us tickets to the circus for our anniversary and I keep forgetting to blog about it. It was our little family, plus Stephanie and her friend. We had great seats and Sarah Grace loved seeing all of the animals. I think I would have to say her favorite act was the elephants. She loves them. While we were there, we let her choose one toy and I thought for sure she would want the rubber elephant. Wrong! She wanted this whirling light toy, which by the way she smacked me a couple of times with on accident and then managed to hit herself with it. The lights and acrobatics were my favorite, but I did have to close my eyes a few times when they got a little too dare devilish for me! They had concession stands, but they were waaaayyyy over priced. It was $12 just for cotton candy, so by the end of it we were starving. We decided to hit a little Mexican joint and stuffed ourselves with amazing food! It was a long night, but I think we would definitely do it again.

I think that looks so fun! I'm jealous. We do have a little circus that rolls through town, but I've heard it's kinda run down and limited. (I hope to go to it anyways one of these days) I'm glad you guys had fun. I can't believe they charged that much for cotton candy! I think it's so cute she wanted to pet an elephant. Guess you need to make a trip out to visit us. At the six flags/animal kingdom in Cali by us they have an elephant you can ride. :)

Despite some of the trauma on our one and only trip to the Circus it really was the most "Amazing show on Earth." Glad you got to go.
