Slow going

The weather is perfectly crisp outside. We've even had some rain to help drop the temperatures. It's fall around here, of course it is South Carolina so you never know, we may have a week of 90 degree weather show up.  My sweaters are calling out my name and I can't wait to slip them on (I still need jeans though,) but lately it seems like I'm living in either my scrubs for work or pajama/painting clothes. Putting this new house together has been a lot slower than we thought and I'm afraid its consuming all of our free time. I haven't posted many pictures of the new house because its a brown nightmare. How anyone lived with it I don't know. I have a large kitchen filled with ugly brown cabinets that are on the list to be painted (you may have seen them in the pic from sunday with Sarah Grace in it,) 1970's yellow countertops that unfortunately will be staying for quite some time. Wallpaper that is ugly in two of the bathrooms and covering the kitchen walls. The ceiling is vaulted in the kitchen too so it's going to make peeling this wall paper a very tedious job. No thanks! I promise I will get pictures up of our progress, but right now it's so slow and there really isn't much to see just yet. Life is very busy and challenging right now. No need for details though. Just know we're happy, managing, coping, and scheming!

*So the wallpaper in the kitchen has turned into a great place for people to sign their names. It's kind of turned into "The Pie." It's been fun and I'm excited to show yall the artwork!

It sucks having to paint and take down wall paper, but how fun to be able to choose what you want and to make it your own. Good luck with it all.

I can't wait to see it in November! I hear Sarah Grace has been trying to help you do some decorating!
