A few mishaps

Sarah Grace has entered an interesting stage lately. She's been as sweet as ever, but she's all of the sudden become extremely mischievous.  We honestly can't take our eyes off of her for two minutes. If you do, she's managed to get into something. She's so sneaky and quiet too. So instead of giving you the story behind each little thing she's done, because lets face it, I'm lazy and that will never happen, I'll just list them out, bullet style!

*The first thing on the list is coloring all over her hands and legs with permanent marker. She colored all her fingernails black and then marked all over her legs. I thought I had hidden all the permanent markers, but apparently not because Barbie and Ken got a fresh coat of marker on them.

*Last Tuesday while I was working, Eric had Sarah Grace and he left her in her room for a few minutes. When he came back in she had colored all over the carpet and one of her dressers with markers. Thankfully they were just Crayola washable marker. The carpets being replaced so its not a huge deal there either, but still, she's a stinker.

*She cut her hair. The night she did it I couldn't figure out where she had chopped from. Well, saturday morning I found it. Yeah, theres a big chunk right on her part thats only about an inch long now. That's going to be lovely when it grows out.

*She dumped an entire bottle of shampoo out the other night. Yesterday I bought a new bottle and then last night during bath time we lost a third of it down the drain.

*Last night she took the bottle of chocolate syrup out of the fridge, pulled down a bowl and filled it with the syrup. She then came into the living room drinking it! Yummy, huh?

*She put on mascara and eyeliner the other day. She was devastated when I scrubbed it all off of her eyes. She told me, "I'm the princess. I'm pretty Mommy."

*She now tells us to "Get out of her room," and if she's watching a movie she tells us to "Go to the Kitchen Mommy, or "Go see Daddy." Apparently she wants her space.

These are the few that I can remember, most of them are pretty funny, but I can't laugh at her or else it will only encourage her. I struggle though. It doesn't help that she's living amongst boxes and a lot of her toys and books have been packed up for at least a week!

It's hard not to laugh at a lot of those. I can relate to some. Is it bad I think she's onto something with the chocolate syrup. Ha. You gotta love those stages. Good luck! What a cute stinker she is though.

It has a reminisce ring to Kayla and Brian's Devon. I think you'll have to padlock the markers and hide all the makeup. Good luck.
