Last night was the first game of the season. I think the whole family was really excited and feeling pretty pumped. Sarah Grace looked absolutely adorable in her new cheerleading outfit and brand new keds (which by the way are a size 9 1/2.) My kid is growing like a weed. So crazy. Before the game we went to the Gamecock walk, where you get to see all the players and the coaches. Right before it started Sarah Grace got to meet some of the cheerleaders. She was pretty shy about it, but its all she's wanted to talk about today. In fact when I was trying to put her down for her nap this afternoon, she darted out of the room and came back in with her shoes and her Carolina bow saying, "I want to go see the Cheerleaders." Cocky has also been high on the subject list for today. Last night when the fireworks were going off she was a little scared and kept telling my Mom that she wanted Cocky to hold her. Yeah, I don't think thats gonna happen. She was awesome during the game though and got to snack on popcorn, a lemon squeeze, and cotton candy. We were all pretty worn out after the big win and needless to say Sarah Grace slept the entire way home and stayed asleep through the night. She even took a super long nap this afternoon, which I was extremely grateful for because I was desperately needing one too! Anyway, we can't wait for next Saturday when we play Georgia.

Sarah Grace is by far the cutest cheerleader alive!! I am so happy it is football season again! I can't wait for the Georgia game! :)
Looks like she had a great time at the game! Glad you had such a great day. Love the pictures.
I don't think I'd want to cuddle a chicken if scared, but I think her comment was cute. She does look adorable. I love her in her cheer outfits and always look forward to seeing her in it. She is growing fast, she always looks so much older to me. I'm glad you and your family had such a nice time. It's also nice SG did do well. What a nice way to kick off your season.
I do miss going to the games. Maybe if I do get to come out there lets plan it during a home game. Maybe this will be the year for the Gamecocks! And Gracie Girl is the cutest cheerleader Ever!
