She loves walking around in our shoes and lately has really taken a liking to my Uggs! Seriously, they are ugly shoes, but they feel heavenly on the feet.

We have a golden raspberry bush in our back "yard." Sarah Grace and Eric love picking them off and chowing down on them.

Sarah Grace has really been into lotion the last six months or so and you have to watch her or she does this. I think she has seen me put moisturizer on my face one too many times!

On Halloween night my Grandma took her Trick or Treating around our neighborhood. She was mostly interested in walking Mr. Hendrix! She did get some good candy from a few friends in my parents neighborhood!
I've been such a bad blogger lately. I have about a million different excuses I could use right now, but I'm not even going to bother typing them out. Most of them do involve applications and Eric's school stuff. Just two more weeks of chaos and then the school apps will be done and Eric will be graduating with his Masters! Have I ever mentioned that I married a very smart man? ...I'm sure my Dad will laugh after reading that statement! All in good fun though! Today is the 11th of November, it's Veteran's Day, Sarah Grace's 22 months mark, and Eric met with a professor at USC about research. Big day! I usually start my mornings by checking all the blogs I read on a regular basis (while Dora the Explorer is on.) Weird right?! I don't know, I would hate to miss something I guess...haha and it always makes me happy when I have something fun to read or I see an adorable picture of my niece that was posted while I slept. Today I read a post that my mother-in-law had written about Veteran's Day and her appreciation for her family members who have served for this country. It made me reflect on my own family and all of the uncles, grandpas, cousins, and my brother-in-law who have made so many sacrifices for us. I feel very proud to have all of these self less people in my family, Brewers, Thompsons, Hulets, and Fluckigers. Thanks Judy for reminding us of these men! Now, on to the next big thing. My baby, who is so quickly leaving the baby stage and turning into this too smart for her own good toddler. Man is she a handful... but I love almost every minute of it. Maybe not so much the screaming fits when we won't let her play with our phones. (We're horrible parents aren't we?!) Nothing is sweeter than hearing her run around the house giggling. She is really into coloring right now and reading her books. She's also picked up on a ton of new words in the last couple of weeks which is what I've been told would happen. They just start talking one day and for the most part she's pretty close. Sarah Grace tries to dress herself in the mornings and usually comes in with pants on her head and on her arms. I suppose I should get a picture of it. Quite funny. We often catch her sneaking out of bed to get to one of our phones. I'm starting to wish we had never showed her the toddler apps. Bad idea! If I get up in the night to use the restroom, which lets face it, happens every night, she will follow me in. This morning I was up at 5am and I heard the door open and she had a huge smile on her face and said, "Mama" and plopped down on her pink Ikea toilet. We're working on potty training but not very vigorously. We've been a little preoccupied to dive completely in yet, but Sarah Grace tells us when she goes and lets us know what she did a good part of the time. Progress...slowly, but surely. I'm thinking after the holidays we'll go full force! Who knows, but right now I'm still enjoying her little diaper bum. I love it in her skinny jeans, its the cutest thing! I know this post is jumbled, but I think thats to be expected of me. I say that it's better than nothing right?!
*I started reading New Moon yesterday afternoon, I'm more than half way through, so hopefully over the next few days I can space out my reading so I don't become too consumed! (Did I ever mention that I have this thing with reading books? Once I start I can't put them down, it's a sad thing, but its just what I do. It's very rare that I walk away from a book, even if its a bad one.) Anyway, I thought I could use a quick refresher before next thursday.
