Music Monday

Some of y'all may not know this, but I'm obsessed with music. LOVE IT! So I've decided that every monday I will post lyrics from my favorite songs and the first person to leave a comment with the correct answer will get a surprise from me. That does mean that my Dad, sister, and brothers who all check my blog a million times a day to see if I have posted new pics, will need to set up an account to win! Whew, long sentence! Bocce ball at the beach

Every year at the beach the boys usually go out before dinner to play bocce ball. I've watched them play many times, but have never joined in. This year I decided to try it. Let me tell you, its actually a pretty fun game and it was a killer work out for my arm. I definitely woke up sore the next morning. Sarah Grace had fun playing in the sand while waiting for this particular game (the pics) to be over. We had a hard time keeping her away from the balls, which are like 3 lbs I think!?

Beach batch # 3

Birthday babes...cousins, born on the same day! How fun! Audra....such a happy baby! I often make this face when I eat cake too! Handsome MJ, the babies were not quite getting the whole cake thing, but they did eventually dig in a bit! Sarah Grace loved swimming in this particular pool, she would kick around and blow bubbles in the water and even went under a couple of times! Haley & Amy

...I know, I'm still blogging about the beach. I'm almost positive at this point that it will take me a million years to finish posting all the pics. On that note, we truly did have a great time visiting and catching up with family and the beach is the perfect location for a reunion. Nights were spent playing games, talking and laughing, freezing in the hotel rooms, venturing out to shops, watching fireworks, walks on the beach, and eating...lots of eating! Mornings we ate cereal and watched the water break on the sand, I even saw a dolphin once...which most people know are my favorite!

*Hanging out with my fav guy...Eric

*Strengthening relationships with family

*Watching all of the cute kids play

*Guarding a hole filled with jelly fish

*Watching fireworks every night

*Relaxing

**Side note-We had 4 days of glorious sunlight and the last few we had a slight overcast. We did have a pretty nasty storm on that wednesday...we even lost power for a few hours!

Just a few more from our trip! It's taking me forever to post these and I'm not even half way through yet...oh boy!

First beach batch

Totally do not know this girl, but she happened to be standing outside while we were taking pics and Sarah Grace wanted to play ring around the rosey (sp) with her!

I'm finally posting the first batch of our beach pictures. Oh the fun we had...nothing is better than watching waves crash against the sand day in and day out! Sarah Grace is such a beach kinda gal. She's meant to live on the coast...maybe someday! My daughter is fearless when it comes to the ocean and we couldn't take our eyes off of her, she had so much fun splashing around and digging/throwing in the sand. So wish we could have stayed for another week!

*Just to clear things up, we will not be moving until next August & we have no idea where. Eric will be finishing up his masters in december and will start applying to doctorate programs this fall!
