A few firsts

Gracie had fun today playing with Jake & Will at the outlets and going to lunch with them!
Today was filled with several firsts for Sarah Grace.  After breakfast I had stripped Gracie down for her shower.  Well, in the two seconds that I didn't have my eyes glued to her, she managed to throw her diaper, onesie, and a book into the toilet.  While I was retrieving these items and repeated ewww over and over again, she squatted  her naked booty buns on my rug and peed.  Oh dear...  so she got all cleaned up and was running around in her towel for a few minutes while I was getting her clothes ready and being distracted by something on the computer.  I saw her go in my closet and tug on some clothes and get down to play with a few shoes and then run back into her room, grab a book and sit in her chair. Harmless right? Oh no...no, no, no, no! As I picked her up to put the diaper on, I noticed a little something on her bum. Oh gross, I thought...where is it?  I was panicking trying to figure out where the mess was and then it hit me! THE CLOSET! Yes, and right outside of it actually. She left me a couple of surprises. Kinda funny and totally my fault! I thought those were a couple of firsts worth documenting.  She also got to video chat with her Uncle CJ tonight and once we got past the fact that he was not daddy, she said his name clear as day. Pretty cute if you ask me.  Gracie has also figured out that she can point to food or the fridge and say "eat."  I'm hoping this will make my life a little easier now, at least I will know when the child is hungry. She's grabbing her books and actually saying "book" now too! I threaten her with the counting to 3 bit and she knows that once I hit 2 she immediately quits and comes running to me.  I'm sure she's thinking, "hey, this is a fun new game!"  Anyway, kinda a random post, but I just wanted to quickly type a few things.

I think closing bathroom doors will be a must these days. Once she learns how to flush and you get a few stopped up toilets Eric will go nuts! She's quite a busy little soul. Ya just got love her though!

That post was so funny. My reactions ranged from, ahhh, ew, and eh. HA. I gotta say cleaning up poop from the floor doesn't sound appealing.
