14 months

Its that time again... the 11th seems to come too quickly every month.  Unfortunately for Sarah Grace she has pretty much spent the last 4 weeks sick & didn't disappoint us today after another visit to the doctor. Yep, we've got asthmatic bronchitis again, right before we fly.  We have 3 flights with as much nebulizing in between as possible. I am so excited! The doctor is also starting her on a steroid treament that will be given everyday for 2 months through the nebulizer to help her transition from winter to spring. Apparently she is prone to wheezing. Haha, I guess we kinda figured that out the hard way. Besides being sick, she has changed quite a bit in the last month.  She is becoming more sassy and demanding. Hmmmm... who does that sound like? She is climbing on everything, she's been climbing up the stairs for about 6 months now and onto my parents fireplace & jumping off for quite some time.  But I have caught her up on side tables, coffee tables, chairs and the other day I found her sitting in our bath tub! OH boy! Sarah Grace is also very observant and we really have to watch what we do and say around her...she's always been really big into mimicking us, but she is even better at it now. While at the beach I was putting on my make-up, which she has seen me do a million times, only this time I left the room for 5 seconds and came back in to find her finger all the way down in my bottle of foundation.  I guess the dresser there was too low! Anyway, I cleaned up her hands and noticed she had smeared it all over her face. A girly girl she must be! Sarah Grace cracks us up, Eric & I just watch her and roll in laughter.  She is definitely a showman and loves to dance. If the girl hears any kind of beat her little body is moving. Hands waving, fingers snapping, bum cheeks shaking...even changing her diaper she will dance if she can hear any music. In the car she just bobs her head to whatever we are listening to, I must admit I think she is a big fan of Paramore.  Gracie, we are so glad to have you & I really do hope you feel better soon little love!
At 14 months:
*A dancing maniac
*Picking up on sign language pretty quickly, her favorite sign is "more" and cracks up everytime she does it
*WAY TOO FAST- the girl can move
*Smart
*A big helper to her mommy
*She likes to help load & unload the dishwasher-the other day I found a piece of her tea set in the dishwasher, it was a bit warped and she likes to put dog food in with the silverware when I'm not looking.
*Will eat the dog food if she thinks no one is looking...but we always catch her...thanks beagles for being so messy and leaving food everywhere.
*Loves shredded cheese & yogurt
*She was 24 lbs, but as of today back down to 23
*Loves playing with her baby dolls, kissing them, hugging them, letting others kiss them.
*Has a blast with her dogs
*Sticks her tongue out when she concentrates
*Likes to play with the mouse and goes straight for it when she's in our room
*Emptys out drawers, as in dresser drawers, kitchen drawers, bathroom drawers...
*Has discovered that my vanity has a drawer filled with jewelry & will pile necklaces on & prance around the house. (Need a pic of it)
*Is like a seagull constantly begging for whatever you are eating...
*Has 1 tooth, well 1/2 a tooth & the rest of her gums are lumps...I know they are all just going to pile in at once....just waiting.
*Is a show off & loves attention
*Still a cuddler & has to fall asleep at night with someone ( love this!)
*So, so , so funny!

It's weird to think that is how old Gabe will be the next time she sees you guys. It's fun to see some things that we can look forward to. Gabe is learning some signs right now too. If anything else at least our girls can tell each other they want more. HA!
HAPPY 14 SG!
