Stephanie was totally partied out at this point...she just can't keep up with me! j/k
Sarah Grace had a blast watching us run around like idiots with our sparklers.
I'm not sure why I'm squatting in this picture or why I look like I'm in pain!?
Yes, this is Eric running around at 12:30 in the morning like a 4 year old with sparklers in his hands!
Will is so stoked about his sparklers!
...You know what too much of this will do to you... does this count as a serving of fruit?
I love New Year's Eve! It's always so exciting celebrating the beginning of a new year. I guess I enjoy the holiday season in general, the past week or so we have had many late nights playing games, going to movies, and just hanging out with family. Needless to say we were well prepared for staying up last night. We rung in the New Year at my parents with the fam, plenty of sparkling cider, fire crackers/sparklers, and an awesome dinner that Eric made! Sarah Grace even stayed up to celebrate with us, apparently our "new" schedule has thrown her off a bit too... oh well! I wish I could list a ton of goals that I have to work on this year and I'm not saying that I don't, but I guess I don't care to make them publicly known... I'm not the greatest at setting and reaching goals so I wouldn't want to make my failures any more obvious! I'm not saying this in a negative way either, thats just how I am...not a goal keeper! So maybe I should just say that this year I would like to set a goal and achieve it, well, maybe I can at least get half way through the year! So good luck to all of us out there who are trying to better ourselves, may this year bring us many achievements, blessings, moments of learning, and happiness!
*On New Year's day we celebrated by watching football (oh how sad my gamecocks make me! ) by the way, if any one actually watched it, did you catch the part where the guy called Sir Big Spur a she?! I mean really?! He then stated that Sir Big Spur had a talon on his right paw! How many roosters do ya know that have paws? Very interesting... Anyway, my Mom then made us a traditional southern new years dinner. Turkey, Black eyed peas, green beans, mashed potatoes, rolls, fat back, collard greens, and plenty of desserts. Each food is supposed to bring you something in the new year...money, love, happiness, I just can't remember which goes with what, so I just eat plenty of all of it!
