Guess who's 6?

Today is this little beauty's birthday! Oh how I love my beagle butt, Scout is such a wonderful dog.  She is a very loyal pet, Loyal to her stomach that is, loving, funny, entertaining, pain in the you know what, and a bum! I love this dog...she has been wonderful with Sarah Grace and lets her follow her wherever she goes. Scouter Lou tolerates the wet kisses Grace gives her, all the sitting and laying on that she does, and doesn't mind her hair being groomed by Sarah Grace. When you need a good nap, Ne-Ne is always there to lay down with you, she was an amazing dummy dog while I was going to school. I'm so glad she was able to forgive me after all of the blood draws, catheters inserted, and "broken" limbs that were wrapped! Beagles we Love You...HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

B-ball Game! Go Cocks!

My child has gorgeous full lips, I mean people would kill to have her luscious lips, and this is what she does with them!  I guess boys will not be an issue! Love these luscious lips! Sarah Grace was too small to go in to the moon jump, but her dad let her jump on the "stairs" she was pretty mesmerized by Cocky who was resting at the top!
Saturday the family traveled down to Columbia for the Carolina/ Ole Miss game! My family already had tickets, but Eric, Sarah Grace, & I were lacking. A local grocery store, Bi-Lo was running a special, if you bought one of their ketchups and six other of their products, they would give you tickets to any Carolina SEC game. We were supposed to be leaving at 2:30 and at 2:24 I was running into the store and walking out with 7 bottles of Southern Home Ketchup. I got several laughs and stares, but I didn't have time to pick other products... and I am working on my food storage, so it all worked out! MMMM, rolled oats and ketchup...my favorite! The game was so much fun, Sarah Grace loves clapping and dancing. Of course she was able to eat her cotton candy and even managed to pass out for a while during the game!
*She has recently become Scout's little side kick, literally following her everywhere, its the cutest thing. Sarah Grace LOVES to kiss her and pet her, we have been working with her for months are being gentle with animals, and I think she might finally be starting to get it. I church yesterday, I caught her very gently petting all the other babies heads!

Recent Photos

Totally didn't notice that Eric has crazy eyes in this pic, oh well, and the little green paper clip has been picked up! All love her face in this pic, she LOVES this frozen yogurt that I make! I am however, a little embarrassed by her hair, what can I say, it was the end of the night! I wanted to post a few recent photos of Crazy Girl as we like to call her sometimes. She is such a funny little thing and has managed to pick a few new tricks in the past two weeks. Lately every time she climbs the stairs, she shakes her little booty. It's hilarious! She climbs a stair, pauses, shakes it, then goes up to the next step and well... repeat, its a booty shaking festival at our house right now. I really need to get some video of this! She also has started saying ewwww more frequently, tonight she was having a hay day with the word. I'm not quite sure why, Sarah Grace also likes to throw things as hard as she can and say uh oh, my attempts at explaining why this is not an uh oh have not gone over very well to my 12 month old. Gracie just added Thank you to her list of words, although it's coming out more like dank doo, I'm taking it! Earlier today she kept bringing me markers and saying dank doo every time she gave me one. Such a polite child I have raised... Sarah Grace is also very helpful around the house. Her newest chore list is helping hand me clothes as I'm loading the washing machine, unloading and then reloading the dishwasher and digging through the trash and then getting caught and returning the contents back to their proper resting spot. Thank you Gracie! I also found her hiding her paci today. She stashed it behind a picture frame and then grabbed it and took off running when she saw me watching her... I'm not quite sure what was going through her mind, but in all honesty, it was a good spot! Enough of my rambling for tonight, I'm not even sure if this post makes sense and I'm too lazy to read through it and edit it, so it is what it is!

New phones

A few days ago Eric & I got new phones. We were due for new ones a few months ago, but just never got around to getting them. I ended up with this new beauty... the Palm Centro, its a pretty neat little phone. It has touch screen and all the works, of course I'm completely clueless on how to use it and will be calling my sister frequently so I can figure it out(she owns the same phone). Anyway, I'm only telling everyone this because I lost all of my contacts so if any of yall want to shoot a text my way that would be very beneficial! Eric was trying to talk me into switching to AT&T so he could get the new iPhone. It was a valiant try, but I'm sorry, there are two things I hate spending money on and thats cars & phones. Such a waste to me....it was $200 for the iphone...I'm choking right now thinking about it! I felt bad telling him no, knowing good and well if I were the one asking he would say yes, but really, do you know what that much money can buy?! So we stayed with sprint & are happy with our new little phones! Maybe someday Eric...
*Not a pic of my personal phone, I think mine is a berry color...I know berry right, its so me and it was $20 bucks...right up my alley! I love shopping with a budget, it so much fun...almost like a challenge, I like it!

Gracie's first snow!

She was not so happy about putting on her "snow" gear!
Last night we had a storm come through and leave us a nice layer of snow covered ground. Around 10:30 it starting falling and I must admit that watching snow fall is so beautiful and peaceful. I love it! Eric & I took Sarah Grace out to play in it this morning, she had fun walking around and making snowballs with her daddy!
*Please ignore the fact that all of my pictures are out of order again...I always do that!

Jakie Bear is 23!

Today is Jacob's birthday. I just wanted to give him a shout out and tell him what a great brother he is and how grateful I am that he puts up with me and all of my bossiness!  Jacob is the kindest, sweetest, most optimistic, and laid back person I know. He only thinks positively about people...seriously, he does not see the flaws in any one at all! How wonderful would that be! Jakie Bear is a very loving uncle and is always so patient with Sarah Grace! I love having him for a brother and I hope your 23rd birthday is full of smiles and hugs! (Jake's favorite)...

Birthday babies, Gracie & Jakie!

Who wants a kiss? "Why isn't anyone stopping me?" Sarah Grace talking on her new "blackberry" Uncle Will gave her...seriously, so cute! The beloved shirt! The cherry heart ice I made for the drinks...I think this was a hit! I will definitely make those again! Valentine's maybe? The birthday babies together eyeing each other's hats! The Birthday boy...Stephanie stayed up till 2 am making him this birthday crown...isn't he handsome! Before... Saturday night my mom & I stayed up making these cute little pom-poms, which are now hanging in her room, they match the bedding/curtains Nana made perfectly! I wasn't paying attention and my pictures are all out of order, but oh well. Sunday was Gracie's big day, after church we had the family over at our house for lunch and birthday celebrations! We fried up some hotdogs, hamburgers, and had potato salad and beans. So good... after lunch we dove right into the presents. Sarah Grace had so much fun opening her gifts, I think her favorite had to be a shirt that Uncle Jacob gave her, she walked around with it for about 15 minutes and wouldn't put it down. She also had to share the limelight with Uncle Jakie who has his birthday on the 14th...it was kinda a joint party! We saved the best for last....this amazing cake that we had a family friend do, (as a side note she made our wedding cake for our reception in sc) ohhhh, it taste like pure butter rolled in sugar! Sarah Grace tried to attack her candle during her Happy Birthday tune, but had no problems blowing it out. Her and grandma had been practicing that on saturday and she became a pro at it! Eric & I thought she would be shy about her cake, but we were wrong. She delicately picked at the frosting at first and once she realized we weren't stopping her, she dove right now. She just squished the cake over and over and would then rub her fingers together and I believe some even made it to her mouth! A nice warm bath followed at the end of the party! HAPPY BIRTHDAY SARAH GRACE!!!
