This past Monday we loaded up the car with family and friends and headed up to Carowinds. Eric was given half off coupons at work and we had to use them before the 4th. We figured Monday was the perfect day to go because the park usually isn't busy during the week. Boy were we right! Most of the rides we went straight on to and if there were lines, they were super short. Eric and Will's friends hit some of the bigger rides and roller coasters, I stuck to the smaller ones and spent a good bit of my time with Sarah Grace in the kids section. Half way through the day we were ready to get wet so we ventured into the water park. They had tons of water slides and pools and of course a kids water park. We spent most of our time in the kids water attractions, but Will & his friends hit the bigger slides. Towards the end of the day we went and saw Snoop on ice. It was a good chance for us to cool off and about half way through Sarah Grace fell asleep and got a nice nap in. Afterwards we went on a few more rides and then headed home. We even made it home in time to watch the Carolina game. I'll have to admit though, we were exhausted!

What a trooper to go on the water slides. I'd never do anything like that at her age. I was terrified of everytng.
What a fun day at the park. Maybe the girls will enjoy Lagoon in the coming years. Looks like you were really going all day!
And Will is getting to be quite the hairy fellow - I keep thinking of him when he was 10!
How fun! It makes me want to hit 7-peaks! Sarah Grace looks like she had a ball too.
