My 27th Birthday

May 24th I turned 27. I was informed that I was no longer in my mid twenties, but had reached my late twenties. I suppose I'm ok with that. I remember being 19 and telling people I was married. Even living in Utah I would get crazy looks, so with every birthday I felt a little better about telling people my age. I'm still ok with it I guess, most of the time people don't believe me anyway, (thats what a good skin care routine will do for you, not a wrinkle in sight.) I think once I turn 30 though, I may just stick with that number for a few years. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. 27 is proving to be pretty great so far. That morning I got breakfast in bed. That was quickly followed by Sarah Grace's gymnastics class, which Eric & I love going and watching her. She's so stinking cute! We ran a couple of errands afterwards and then Eric took me out to lunch. We went to a Mexican restaurant, which is my favorite. Sarah Grace is pretty fond of it too, she loves eating the "mud." A nap followed lunch and then dinner and a party at my parents house. My mom made a delicious dinner of my choice and then we had cakes and ice cream. Yes, I said cake, you get two birthday cakes in my family. A regular cake and a cookie cake. I was spoiled with presents and I'm pretty sure I have a whole new summer wardrobe. I also got spoiled with a joint b-day party while we were in Utah. I got some fun stuff from my in-laws too! My gift from Eric & Sarah Grace came a day early because Sarah Grace was having a hard time keeping a secret. When I got home from work on Monday Eric blindfolded my and led me to the back yard where he had a...trampoline waiting for me! That trampoline has proven to be one of the best purchases, we are out jumping on it every day. Its been a great thing for our family! Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes, it was one of the best!

A Tramp?? Spoiled! We never had anything cool like that growing up. Two things I want for my kids, a tramp and a slip n slide. Awesome!
