Christmas Eve

I'm a little late posting all of these, but better late than never right?! This Christmas Eve was very similar to past Christmas Eves. I spent all day working on cinnamon rolls for Christmas morning, but this year I enlisted my sister to help me. It was nice being able to spend the day together and we were even able to run a few last minute errands while they raised. That evening we had a nice Christmas meal at my Grandmas and exchanged gifts with her. It's so wonderful having her so close to share these holidays with. That night we let Sarah Grace open her Christmas pajamas and we of course left cookies and milk for Santa. After the treats were left out, we all curled up and bed and read the Birth of our Savior. Eric wanted to read out of the Scriptures this year so we did, but we also used the Children's New Testament Reader to give Sarah Grace some pictures to look at. We read her a couple of her holiday books and then she was out. Eric and I headed back downstairs and turned on A Christmas Story. It's kind of turned into a tradition to watch it while we do some last minute things around the house. I think we stayed up till 2am and we even had a couple of visitors who brought batteries and 12:30 in the morning. Thanks Jake and Will. They were our Christmas Elves that night. It was such a fun day and I loved every second with family.

*I've apparently ran out of photo space on my blog, I guess Christmas pictures will have to wait until more storage is purchased.

Eloise got those same PJ's from us! So cute!

Is is lame that I miss Christmas already? I'm not quite ready to give up the Christmas music yet.

Those seemed to be the pjs of the year. Ainslee got them too. They are so cute and warm. You need a Santa plate for Santa - though the Snowman is adorable.

I love her new pj's, they are so cute. We had intentions to leave out oreos for Santa, but they got consumed before Christmas came around. I think it's great you get to have some Christmas time with your Grandma. What a nice tradition. I love a Christmas story. I didn't watch it this year though. :( Can't wait to see more pics once you can.
