This last weekend the East Coast was hit with a pretty big winter storm. I know a lot of people make fun of us down here in the south when it comes to snow. They laugh because everything shuts down when we get a couple of inches. Well to those idiots out there, we don't get snow, we get ice. We have a lot of people around here that think that because they're from up north or out west they can drive in it without any problems, well those are the ones that are causing the wrecks. Like I said we get ice, not snow. Now, onto our festivities, I ended up not having to work on saturday so we spent the day lounging around and playing in the "snow." Sarah Grace loved it and didn't want to go back inside. She helped my dad do some shoveling, (which if he hadn't done that on saturday we would not have been able to go to church on sunday, ) she ate the ice, and we went sledding. We ended up staying the weekend at my parents and it turned into a big sleep over.

They shut things down here, I am grateful for it most of the time-cause california people don't know how to drive in it. I'm glad if it was ice you didn't have to go anywhere. I love the pictures. I'm glad SG loved the sled, it looks fun. What a big helper she is with the shovel. Nothing like some good winter pictures, they are all cute.
i think thats funny/true. we have some friends from burley who are now living in mississippi for grad school. they got hit with the same storm. well, he thought that he could drive in it and went to school to study (even though it was all shut down) well apparently on his way home he was pretty scared on the ice and told his wife how crazy it was. fortunately he didnt wreck.
So dang cute and funny! We miss those snows that close down the whole town. That hat is so cute, is that one Grandma made you?
It looks like y'all had a blast! Snow storms are so fun! Sarah Grace looks so cute in her boots and sall bundled up! :)
